Todays Lesson (CANCELLED NETWORK ISSUES)

Hello all

Today i am going to see where you are and how i can help progress you further. With the exception on one student

I am going to set you a brief.

Brief Create a clock that can tell the time using scratch.

A digital clock using the variable display will be the easiest.
Some of you may struggle to do anymore than this.

At 5pm i will be performing tests on you’re code.

  1. What happens at 00:59:59
  2. What happens at 23:59:59

Things to remember

  1. 60 seconds per minute
  2. 60 minutes per hour
  3. 24 hrs in day.
  4. 3600 seconds in one hr.

Helpful hints

Set variables for

  1. minutes
  2. seconds
  3. hours
  4. Set all variables initially for a specified time example 12:00:00;
  5. a forever loop is what you need here
  6. You need to be able to tell
    1. When a minute is completed.
    2. When a hour is completed.
    3. When its the end of the day.
